2011 Fantasy Baseball Catcher Rankings
On U, we are teaching a specific strategy of fantasy baseball. You can go somewhere else stat projections or player rankings get, this is just noise. How to make your way through the ciriculum you do see that we teach you how the noise and ignore it to your advantage at the same time. While other compilation gives a list of the best available player, you will gain crafting a team with the aim of categories. It is simply the marginal value. Take the parameters of your forced to accept in your league rules and to find out where this creates value are. The auction dollar values mixed in on predictions for a 5X5 12 teams rotissirie League. This is not conjecture how much the players go, but our idea of how much your budget, they are for the 2011 season with this in mind, our resident expert Phil Hildreth and Herman Obando worth going through each item and debate, where the value players created for your draft or auction. Oh, and she likes the The Wire (Herman’s from Baltimore).
2011 Catchers Rankings
“It may looked like this little child who was abandoned at a bus stop by his parents. You know why? Because he had caught Hoyt Wilhelm Knuckleball. Five * & @ # ing years. . The worst gig in baseball is like trying to catch a greased pig with wings, I mean, he himself said a reporter once, “Wilhelm almost ruined me.” Gus Triandos big slow guy ”
- Thomas.” Herc ” Hauk
1) Joe Mauer -
Phil Hildreth .. Wall is a class of their Amazon.de. Even if he never had his 2009 home run stroke back, he will hit third in a crime that only the Yankees and Red Sox have in the implementation of dough based on solid in the past three years.
Herman Obandol: Unfotunately go the twins organization’s decision not to move the outfield fencesis to ensure that wall is power swing can not be returned. He only hit a home run on the target field in the last year. Nevertheless, a difference maker wall, I think he can be put in the late first round
PH. From what I’ve seen it’s a pretty safe bet that he still be there in the second round, even a 12-team league, but I agree that you build a successful team around Wall, although he did not play 150 games and he is a risk of injury. Underpinnings place even someone in the next stage of Catcher allows greater flexibility in other positions (think of how banks an extra 30 avg points for later use Adam Dunn or Michael Stanton)
HO. If you really injuries involved here? It comes to this if you spend big money or draft picks you better come away with a player that you can win something. Wall is a piece that helps you win categories. In Mark Texiera or Adrian Gonzalez in the first round doesn’t make before the rest of the league, just keep his serve
2) Carlos Santana -.
3) Brian McCann -
4) Buster Posey -
5) Victor Martinez -
HO: have teams tend to pay too much / overdraft players who do not go, move the needle very much. Everyone knows there are only five vessels that make you feel good and that will inflate the price of the top five in an auction. That is, our predictions seem to think that Santana is the best of the group, you agree
PH: Not really. Santana is recovering from a pretty horrible knee injury in a pretty horrible crime. All these are four with a fair amount of hype, so I’ll probably wait for the next level, if I’m missing wall. Victor Martinez would me the most, but I have seen some “experts” scare put him as the No. 1 catcher
HO. I also think that Posey is a value to be the case this year. Remember that he is still not a full season in the majors and played his monthly splits show that its statistics will benefit from a monster July. . This could be a good time to point to all that Cody Ross and Edgar Renteria have no fantasy value despite all the home runs they hit in October last year
PH: Well, because we have not said anything about McCann Still means this, he is the best value in this group. . Nah probably not
6) Kurt Suzuki -
7) Geovany Soto -
Mike Napoli -
9) Matt Wieters -
PH: That’s probably the Sweet commercial value, for this position. I like Suzuki is more than most, because there is no way that he repeated its 2010 performance of 20% of his vision as a flyball caught infield popups (worst in the league). His average should rise and he is one of the few catchers play almost every day
HO. I like Napoli here now that he finally escaped the Mike Socia train and should see plenty of at bats in the powerful Rangers lineup. We also forget how young is Wieters. He may not be as bad as we remember him from last year and not on my newly designed Orioles lineup sleep
10) Jesus Montero -.
11) Russell Martin -
PH: Clearly, these two guys are not worth that much. One of these guys will get the bulk of at bats in the Yankee lineup. Currently, that is to stay away until this position battle filter off. If Jesus to stop the back he was a 20 + HR guy to be, is Martin’s value from a potential for a sneaky soursneaky stealing tens, if he wins the day
HO: I agree with you shouldn ‘. t pay these prices but one of these types is of great value are at the catcher position, so I will take a flier on Montero if he comes cheap / late.
12) Ryan Doumit -
13) Miguel Olivo -
14) AJ Pierzynski -
15) Jorge Posada -
16) Miguel Montero -
HO This group has talent, but neither is incorrect in age or season. In Posada’s case, it is both. Its frustrating that the pirates to Chris Snyder may appear more than Doumit. It’s actually comforting to be on the opposite side of the front office Pirates though. Free Doumit
PH: Montero competition for playing time is the training room, but I like to play out in a few stations as a train. I have noticed that Pierzynski disappears from many cheat sheet, but he’s not really your team can hurt all over thats almost all of them from a # 2 catcher ask
17) Yadier Molina -.
19) Chris Ianetta -
20) Ramon Hernandez -
PH: There is not much value in a backup catcher. You only need one, but the waiver wire is nearly identical statistics are in circulation. The only thing, this group really, playing time and safety of the workplace. Hey, that you will be 162 games played at each position of a large part of the shelves to counting statistics
HO. I can not get them to spend money / draft spots to # 2 catcher. If I have a second catcher, I’ll deal with the waiver wire later need. I would rather have a speculative OF or starting pitcher. Unless, of course, Bryce Harper is still around …
21) JP Arenciabia -
22) Carlos Ruiz -
23) Josh Thole -
24) Bryce Harper -
HO: You know someone is Bryce Harper take. Best-case scenario is a repeat of Buster Posey’s call last year. That’s a pretty long back so if you do not give up, I say go for it a lot
PH. Arenciabia will always be some hype begin as a power hitter and I see him as a speculative play better this year because, unlike Harper, he will at least theyear in the big leagues. Thole has shown that he averageso for it is a useful plug-in player could eventually taken during the seasonduring a hot streak. I’m not really sold last year, exceptions to the rule, not a new normal to rookie catcher though.Posey and even Santana.
